Elsuon | The House of Yale

The Children of the Loring King

The House of Yale is a powerful dynasty of Royosian origin. Though many believe the Loring King established the House of Yale by his marriage to Ryvern Yale, she is, in fact, the daughter of Dr. Tristan Yale, after whom the family is named.

The Yales are a racially mixed family, consisting of mocha-skinned Khytherians and fairer-skinned Royosians and Nymirians.

The reputation of the Yales derives from their generational Wardenships of multiple Vyn Valorum Chapterhouses, and their use of Loring Hex inherited from the Loring King.

Interestingly, Vyn Valorum assets and objectives are incompatible with Loring Hex, resulting in a treaty limiting the use of the latter among the members of the House of Yale. Transmitted through blood, Loring Hex infuses a “savor” to the flesh and fluids of those who possess it.

The Yales recently immigrated to the Southern Rhone, allying themselves with benevolent political powers such as the Sablers of Arbonhale and the Nymirians of the Eastern Fortunes.

Savage Errands - The Wild Run and Raider’s Moon are fantasy adventures set in the ancient city of Anzioch in the desert kingdom of Sanzakarth. The series revolves around Princesses from the House of Yale, Tristanué Yale and her cousin Orland Yale, respectively, who travel to Anzioch to aid a noble order of knights in liberating the city from a mad queen and defending it from a rapacious warlord set on capturing it. The World of Elsuon is based on decades of role-playing games with close friends. With all the main arcs finished it makes sense to translate these cherished games into media for other authors, writers, scriptwriters, film directors, gamers, artists, designers, readers, or other communities to enjoy. Videos for Substack, Twitter, Spotify, Rumble, and YouTube are extracted from voluminous game notes, gameplay, and recollections from gamers. I began publishing these adventure stories on Amazon Kindle a few years ago and will add weekly Substack serialized adventures in 2023. Lastly, I will post these adventures as audiobooks through across our many media channels. If you like these properties and would like to contribute, you may do so through Patreon, YouTube, and Substack, all of which grant you access to premium content.
